Roof and skylight replacement

Cloisters of Tuckaway was a unique project that consisted of a complete 10,000 sq ft roof replacement and interior renovations.  Cloisters is owned and occupied by 144 residents, so one of the greatest challenges was keeping the building operational and the residents comfortable.

Prior to construction, the existing skylights leaked, requiring the placement of buckets throughout the walkways to collect water.  In addition, many of the structural wood beams needed replacement.  In order to access the beams, scaffolding was installed over the existing pool area.  This allowed us to safely replace the beams, install the new roof curbs, new white membrane roof and new skylights.
