Waukesha, WI
New dormitory
Completed September 2008
$10 Million
This 66-unit, 264-bed residence hall for Carroll University was developed on the College Avenue site of the former Waukesha Rubber Company. The four-story dormitory houses students in what Carroll describes as “sex-specific quad apartments.” Each apartment has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen. The building also includes air-conditioning, underground parking, an exercise facility, a coffee shop and a computer lab.
This project was recognized by the Business Journal with a 2009 Real Estate Award for 2nd Place - Best New Development or Renovation-Residential. The project team attended an awards ceremony where 18 Milwaukee-area projects were recognized in several categories.
