Senior Accountant

Amy McBain

On working with you – My passion is all things related to numbers. My best is displayed when I can help leadership have efficient, accurate and timely data to support their decision making and analysis. Working in accounting has advantages because I get to work with each employee ensuring they are paid on time and supporting their work in the office or on the construction site. Familiarity with customers and vendors are a bonus.
On your favorite project – I am looking forward to following a construction process from start to finish and seeing my role at play within the project. I am particularly excited for the Primrose School project. I am partial on this because Brookfield has always been my home town and I worked for a school district for over 11 years.
On your own time – Most of my time is spent with my family – my kids, my kid-in-laws and my grandkids. I enjoy pool time, golf, walking my dogs and most any type of game.
On working in Construction – My experience with construction has been building my own house and watching my son and daughter-in-law flip houses. The most rewarding benefit of working in construction will be watching a project take shape through the construction phases and to see it evolve until completion. The joy it brings to the construction team and the customer is contagious and priceless.
