Mike Smith

Mike is currently focused on commercial projects for office, industrial and multi-family housing clients. His personal demeanor, solid communications skills, and results-oriented mentality have helped him build strong relationships with owners, subcontractors and other industry partners throughout Southeastern Wisconsin.

On working with you – I bring a “can do” attitude to every project. I’m goal-focused, putting in every effort to make sure that the desired outcome is achieved and the owner is happy.
On your favorite project – One of my favorite projects I did was for Camp Whitcomb/Mason in Hartland that sticks out to me. It was a Boys and Girls Club camp renovation, focusing on an existing pool and pool house. Both were completely demoed, and we built new state of the art features in its place. I enjoyed being a part of a project that was community-focused; kids would be able to use it for many years to come. I also enjoy projects that incorporate multiple building types in one phase of construction, like the 44 Unit CBRF, multipurpose facility, and storage facility at an existing Senior Living Campus in Watertown. Those are always a challenge and opportunity to learn something new.
On your own time – When I am not working, I love to spend time with my two kids. I am an active person who enjoys golfing, hunting, exercising and watching different sporting events.
On working in Construction – The fact that every day is different, and every project brings different challenges and new professional connections really resonates with me. I’m able to remain active as this industry allows me to split my time between job sites, the office, and different project meetings.
